The First Plancher Benevolent Society
The Society was established in 1919 and is one of a few "Landsmanshaft"
(fraternal) organizations that are still active.
Meetings are held 3 times a year in New York City,
usually in May, September and November. The September meeting coincides
with the annual Yahrtseit of the town of Plontch.
Burial plots are maintained at two cemeteries in the
Metropolitan NY area.
